Vishwa Sanskrit Day 2023

In India,World Sanskrit Day is celebrated every year on the full moon day of the month of Shravanto honor the mother tongue of Sanskrit. On this day,Raksha Bandhanis also another main festival of Hindus. In this year 2023, World Sanskrit Day is being celebrated on 31st August.

Language ​​of the country. The Sanskrit language is considered the mother of all modern Indian languages as other languages ​​are believed to be born from this. About 97% of world languages have been directly or indirectly influenced by this language.

This classical language is called the basis of Indian culture, is one of the 22 national languages ​​listed by our constitution. Most of our religious texts in which Ved Purana and Gita were composed in the Sanskrit language. Today most of the words in the dictionary of English, which is said to be the world’s most prosperous and modern language, have been taken from this language.

For a few thousand years from now, Sanskrit, which has been called the base language of Indian public life, has come to the limelight today, the number of people who know and understand it has remained a handful today. Even though Sanskrit does not get the place it deserves today, but its importance is as much today as it was before. Because with this help we have gained knowledge of other languages.

The Sanskrit language is a symbol of India’s civilization and golden history, which people are forgetting today. The Education Department of the Government of India had issued a directive to celebrate Sanskrit Language Day every year at the national and state levels every year since 1969.

Even today, many schools and universities are doing important work in this direction for the study of this language and literature surgeon in our country. Realizing its importance in the education curriculum of Rajasthan, Sanskrit is taught as a compulsory subject from classes 6 to 9. Sanskrit essays, slokas, speeches, and poetry competitions are also organized on various occasions.

  • Sanskrit is the oldest language in the world and is the language of Vedas which opens the door of wisdom. The Sanskrit language has the power of saying something more with the use of a minimum amount of words.

  • Sanskrit is a highly regularized language. In fact, NASA declared it to be the “only unambiguous spoken language on the planet” – and very suitable for computer comprehension.

  • Sanskrit has the highest vocabulary in any other language in the world.

  • Sanskrit is an official language of the Indian State of Uttarakhand.

  • There is a report by a NASA scientist that America is creating 6th and 7th generation supercomputers based on the Sanskrit language. The project deadline is 2025 for the 6th generation and 2034 for the 7th generation computer.

  • Learning Sanskrit improves brain functioning. Students start getting better marks in other subjects like Mathematics, Science, etc. which some people find difficult. It enhances memory power.

  • Research has shown that the phonetics of Sanskrit has roots in various energy points of the body and reading, speaking, or reciting Sanskrit stimulates these points and raises the energy levels, whereby resistance against illnesses, relaxation to the mind, and reduction of stress are achieved.
