Marketing is the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large.


Here, the two key concepts include activities from creation to customer. To take the Voice of Customer (VOC), “what is wanted,” and transform it into a “how do we do it” is a mixture of science and art. Also important is how to manage and sustain the product life cycle using various analytical tools such as forecasting.


Marketing and Sales are two different functions and require a different skill set. Good marketing practice serves as the foundation for sales.

  • solves the problem of customer engagement

  • creates needs and wants

  • it is the means of sustainability of an organization

  • transforms small businesses into multi-billion business

  • it is essential for the growth of the business


Marketing is not just a function, but a way of doing business. Without marketing, growth is pretty much impossible.
