Hyderabad Runners Club Run 2024 articipated.

The Hyderabad Runners' annual event Club Run 2024, was held on Sunday at the Hyderabad Central University Campus.

This year’s event marks the 15th edition of the Club Run. The event had 10Km and a Half

Marathon (21.1 Km) categories.

The Kouch25k training program was conducted in 26 locations with 560 participants and they were trained for 6 weeks and took part in their 5k graduation run.

Shri flagged off the run. P. Tukaram, Controller of Examination, University of Hyderabad, Shri. M. Ramesh Reddy IPS, IGP, Government of Telangana and Dr. G. Vineet DCP, Madhapur Law & Order.

About 2000 runners from all over the twin cities participated in the event. The participants

included many students and staff from the University.

The Clun Run event is a qualifying race for the NMDC Hyderabad Marathon powered by IDFC FIRST Bank participation. They considered that the runners did their best to clock their best timings. Care Hospitals provided emergency medical support for the event.

The winners of the Half Marathon (21.1 Km) Race were Male: Avik Pal (1 Hour 18 Mins 22 Secs) and Female: Neliswe Gcinile (1 Hour 43 Mins 26 Secs)

The Winners of the 10Km Race were Male: Surendra Paravada (37 Mins 22 Secs) and Female: Soujanya Gudala (49 Mins 41 Secs)

NMDC Hyderabad Marathon has now become synonymous with many things which are Hyderabadi. It owes its current status to the vision, passion and hard work of the members of Hyderabad Runners, the team that had introduced this mammoth racing extravaganza to the city of Hyderabad. Founded in 2007, a good four years before the Marathon began to run across Hyderabad, the group currently has over 6,000+ online members. The members dedicated their endeavour to inculcating community running culture in the city and roping in people from all walks of life. The baby steps covered shorter runs before the half and full marathons made their place on the map. Their mission is to promote active lifestyles amongst the public and make running as the preferred form of fitness activity in and around the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
